Our Payment Policy
We love to clean but we don’t enjoy debt collecting. We do not offer credit terms or have the time and resources to chase payment after cleans, so we require all cleaning services to be paid for prior to or during the clean. Additionally, some of our services (such as vacate cleans, first-time cleans and one-off cleans) require a deposit to secure the booking. Our available payments are cash and EFTPOS. You are welcome to switch payment methods as often as needed.
Cash payments can be made directly to your cleaner during the clean, who will count the money and mark your invoice as paid. Please note that change may not be available, however we can use overpayments as a credit towards your next clean. Deposits for services that are cancelled can be refunded in full, less any cancellation fees that apply if less than 24 hours’ notice is given for the cancellation (read more about our cancellation policy here).
EFTPOS payments can also be made directly to your cleaner during the clean using a credit or debit card, or over the phone. We use a payment gateway called Stripe to process card payments on the job. Due to the fees associated with this payment facility, a 1% surcharge applies to all EFTPOS payments. If you intend to settle payment with EFTPOS but will not be present at your clean when we are needing to settle payment, we will usually require payment to be made by EFTPOS over the phone in advance.
We do not accept EFT/bank transfer payment, unless made and cleared in advance of your clean. If you have requested to pay by EFT in advance but the funds are not paid into our account prior to the clean, we are likely to cancel the booking and a cancellation fee may apply. If there are any outstanding amounts owing to us, services may be suspended until accounts are finalised.
Irrespective of payment method, every clean is invoiced and you will receive a copy of your paid invoice after each clean by email, usually within 24 hours. All invoices include GST and this is clearly indicated on your tax invoice.
